The Research Fellow is appointed for 12 months following advertising and selection procedures that are determined by WA Public Sector Standards. The current Research Fellow is employed by Department of Health, Western Australia.
Responsibilities include searching, documenting and grading evidence, drafting new pathways, finalising pathways, and reviewing and revising existing pathways at the direction of the Chief Editor and in collaboration with Expert Panels.
Editorial Panel
Membership of the Editorial Panel is honorary. The panel is multidisciplinary and comprises imaging consultants with subspecialty interests and general practitioners. The panel ensures membership from each subspecialty by networking with local, national and international colleagues to attract qualified personnel who are willing to participate. Membership also includes consumer representatives.
Responsibilities include recommending membership of Expert Panels, reviewing pathway materials and information for consumers, and reaching final agreement on the content

The current GP Advisor is the foundation advisor. She is employed at Royal Perth Hospital as the Hospital Liaison GP; she is also a practicing GP.
Responsibilities include membership of the DIP Steering Committee which is responsible for advising and approving all activities related to the development, dissemination, implementation and evaluation of Diagnostic Imaging Pathways.

The current Medical Physics Advisor is the foundation advisor. He is Adjunct Professor in the School of Physics, University of Western Australia.
Responsibilities include the development of the Radiation Training Module.
Pathology

The current Pathology Advisor is the foundation advisor. He is a consultant pathologist at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.
Responsibilities include the supply of pathology images for the Image Gallery.
Information Technology

The current Information Technologist is employed by Department of Health, Western Australia.
Responsibilities include the development and maintenance of the DIP website including the underlying Content Management System.
Expert Panels
Expert Panels are convened by the Chief Editor when pathways are created, reviewed and revised. Membership is honorary and includes subspecialty imaging specialists, subspecialty referring specialists and general practitioners when appropriate.
Responsibilities include reviewing draft materials for pathways provided by the Research Fellow, and consulting with colleagues. Members provide feedback and suggestions to the Research Fellow to incorporate into draft materials that are submitted to the Chief Editor and Editorial Panel for finalisation.
Contributors
The Chief Editor, members of the Editorial Panel and members of Expert Panels communicate and solicit feedback and suggestions from their colleagues and other experts when pathways are being created, reviewed and revised. These ‘Contributors’ work in an honorary capacity with regard to Diagnostic Imaging Pathways. It has not been possible to maintain a fully comprehensive list of Contributors; any omissions from the following list will be corrected if the Chief Editor is advised.
